Second amendment rallies present open threats to rule of law is the title of an article recently written at The Huffington Post. Clearly the writers at this post are well versed in history as well as being excellent researchers.

“Our elected officials must be united in denouncing the use of political violence as a tool to overturn the results of the democratic process. Such violence was decried by our Founders, and we should see it as the same grave threat to the rule of law as they did.”

So a peaceful march is now considered “political violence”? If you wanna yell at your computer or maybe post your thoughts in the comment section of this article (which I advice you do), you can read the entire article here.

Could it be! some pro gun writing coming from Canada about America.

Safer streets will come with sovereignty, and they will bring with them safer freedoms, safer families and safer futures. These will come only from the repeal of gun laws as a major obstacle to them and as a vanguard for the boondoggles which make major city streets so unsafe to begin with. Repeal all gun laws, and you’re halfway home to safer streets. You’re halfway in one stroke because you have reversed the direction of the politics. The rest is simple.

The article goes on to state…

But, Americans are getting it: they have been played. They have to live with the consequences of gun control rhetoric; they may soon come to understand how gun control baited them for larger boondoggles which we are now experiencing as one people; the anti-gun types do not live with your decision not to be armed and refusing to be a victim: you do.

What keeps that FBI finding of 1.3 Million violent crimes from becoming a much larger 3.7 Million every year?

You do. Or not. In spite of 1.3 Million people who are brokenhearted and traumatized in completed acts of violent crime, there are about 2.5 million who weren’t. They refused to be a victim and brought lethal force to bear on protecting their lives. They de-escalate crimes a rather consistent 2.5 Million times each year.

Two years ago, in a case involving a direct challenge to the three-decades old D.C. gun ban, the Supreme Court ruled that the Second Amendment did indeed protect a pre-existing individual right to “keep and bear arms”; and that the local government’s complete ban on keeping a firearm in one’s home (or anywhere else) was an impermissible restriction on that right.  In the wake of that ruling, however, the District government has been doing everything it can to avoid allowing the citizens within its jurisdiction any meaningful Second Amendment rights.

For those of us who do not live in the DC area and are not familiar with the requirements to have a firearm in the home, the article enlightens us with the info below.

  • Submitting fingerprints and photographs to the authorities.
  • Permitting the authorities to perform “ballistics identification” tests on the firearm which the citizen wishes to possess.
  • Submitting to whatever tests the District decides are necessary for the authorities to determine if the citizen has the proper degree of “vision” to satisfy the authorities.
  • Completing a safety and training course, and submitting to a test gauging the citizen’s knowledge of D.C. firearms laws and procedures.
  • Telling the authorities in advance where the firearm will be maintained in the home.
  • Reapplying every three years and submitting to a full background check every six.

My personal favorite, even though I acknowledge that all of these are ridiculous, is “Telling the authorities in advance where the firearm will be maintained in the home,” because that makes a whole lot of sense :-)

This could set-off a snow ball effect among other top military personnel.

A decorated active duty Army medical officer, Lieutenant Colonel Terry Lakin (selected for promotion to Colonel), is calling upon his chain of command and his Congressional delegation to force President Obama to release his original birth certificate.  He is the highest ranking officer to go public over this controversy and in late February, was notified that he is subject to near-term deployment to Afghanistan.

“For decades we have shared increased frustration dealing with the federal government and its agencies. What started out as a leak in the erosion of state prerogative and independence has today turned into a flood. From wolf and grizzly bear management, to gun control, to endless regulation and unfunded mandates – the federal government has become far too powerful and intrusive.”

While the U.S. government and federal authorities busy themselves targeting American citizens as domestic terrorists, it seems they couldn’t care less about the fact that the military of a foreign power is flying around American airspace with wanton abandon.

Why does it seem that American society is in decline, that fairness and decorum are receding, that socialism and tyranny are becoming malignant despite the majority of the public being averse to such philosophies, yet the true root cause seems elusive?  What if everything from unsustainable health care  and social security costs, to stagnant home prices and wage stagnation, to crumbling infrastructure and metastasizing socialism, to the utter decimation of major US cities like Detroit, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh, could all be traced to a common origin that is extremely pervasive yet is all but absent from the national dialog, indeed from the dialog of the entire Western world?

Today, on the first day of the new decade of ‘201x’ years, I am going to tell you why that is.  I am hereby triggering the national dialog on what the foremost challenge for the United States will be in this decade, which is the ultimate root cause of most of the other problems we appear to be struggling with.  What you are about to read is the equivalent of someone in 1997 describing the expected forces governing the War on Terror from 2001-2009 in profound detail.

This is a very long article, the longest ever written on The Futurist.  As it is a guide to the next decade of social, political, and sexual strife, it is not meant to be read in one shot but rather digested slowly over an extended period, with all supporting links read as well.  As the months and years of this decade progress, this article will seem all the more prophetic.

This is some of the best and most accurate material I have ever read coming from a blog. Read entire post here.

Sex education has failed. So the Establishment decrees that we must have more of it, and in fact that there shall be no escape from it.

What I don’t grasp is why the people of this country put up with so many separate insults to their intelligence in any given week.

And why this particular blatantly obvious sequence comes round year by year and nobody even laughs, let alone draws the correct conclusion.

Despite the casual massacre of unborn babies in the abortion mills, and the free handouts of morning-after pills (originally developed for pedigree dogs which had been consorting improperly with mongrels), and the ready issue of condoms to anyone who asks, and the prescription of contraceptive devices to young girls behind the backs of their parents by smiling advice workers, and the invasion of school classrooms by supposedly educational smut, the Teenage Pregnancy Strategy has failed, is failing and will continue to fail.

In an astounding piece about the status of women in China, CNN commentators tell viewers that, “If the statistics are any indication, Communism has been good for women.” This claim is outrageous. Communism itself has done everything to reduce the individual and elevate the State. Have women been “liberated” or compelled to enter the workplace under a system known for exploitation?

China has been widely criticized for Human Rights abuses, particularly towards the treatment of women and religious minorities, and their One-Child Policy has caused outrage, backlash and a deficit in the number of women compared with men. Further, state control over the conditions of reproduction, marriage and “equal” access to labor are typically seen as a negative, not positive, talking point.

CNN reports:
“Chen Zhili president of the all-China women’s federation, one of the top ranking women in the Chinese government and is witness to the major changes in women’s status since the Communist revolution. Among the first laws passed by Chairman Mao’s government were statutes banning foot binding, bride selling, dowries, polygamy and concubines. Women were invited to leave the home and join the labor force. Mao spoke those famous words: ‘women hold up half the sky.’ If the statistics are any indication, communism has been good for women.
